This trailer mounted pumpset was prepared
for a Queensland based mining company for dewatering in a coal mine. The pump is
a Southern Cross 200x150-400 driven by a Daewoo D1146T diesel engine. To
avoid the possibility of pump misalignment a drive shaft with 2
universal joints was fitted
|
 |
 |
Heavy duty components were used in the tandem
trailer, which had braking equipment fitted. Heavy duty jacks
were fitted to the gooseneck and each of the back corners to
give stability while the pump was running. The trailer was
designed for off road use only. A large plastic tank was built
into the trailer to allow enough water to fill the pump, and
suction hoses to enable easy priming. |
|
A winch and A frame was fitted to handle the
suction hoses easily and safely even when full of water.

 |
 |
The trailer was also supplied with fire extinguisher and
emergency eyewash facilities. |
