Pump Repairs

We regularly rebuild pumps weighing from a few kilograms to several tonnes. Our high pressure experience has included 2000 Kw high speed multistage pumps, and diesel drive hydraulic intensifier units operating at 280 Mpa.

Link Pumps can rebuild pumps for a lot less than the cost of a new unit, without sacrificing performance or reliability.

Since we are in the industrial pump hire business, we know what it means to depend on pumps for a living. Our team will make sure that you get the service and quality of work, that we require for our own pumps.

Link Pumps repair facility is located in Williamstown North in the heart of Victoria’s petrochemical industry and we have recently completed a purpose built factory for pump hire and repair.

Facilities include easy access for large trucks, wash down area and pump testing facilities.

Facilities in the machine shop include a 1300 mm vertical borer, 24” lathe, 20” lathe and horizontal borer. We also have milling, surface grinding and lapping machinery

Our continuous exposure to a wide range of problems in industrial applications gives us the experience to handle most pump related problems.

In addition to our own extensive facilities we are supported by local specialist contractors providing services such as seal repair and replacement, bearing supply, shaft repair, hard chroming, dynamic balancing and metal casting.

Link Pumps have developed expertise in the field of producing pump parts of specialised materials to suit difficult applications. We can design and prepare patterns for the production of impellers, casings etc.

We specialise in repairing worn and damaged pumps by the application of ceramic epoxy coatings.

Casings and impellers are sandblasted and coated to provide added resistance to abrasion and erosion due to chemicals and cavitation.
